We have partnered with Carol Pratt at Cruise Planners to host an amazing 9 day cruise with amenities and private events exclusively for knitters.
Your Knitter Registration fee covers hosting, instruction, supplies, gifts, prizes and private events designed just for our group. If you are bringing a non-knitting travel companion who will not participate in the group they need not complete the Knitter Registration.

We’ll be setting sail from Baltimore, MD for a 9 night North American cruise during this beautiful fall season! Your hosts have booked private gathering space exclusively for our group of stitchers during our cruising days along with workshops and itinerary items just for our group! Bring your works in progress, make new knitting friends,learn a new technique, and/or participate in our fun cruise specific yarn crawl. All crafters are welcome to join the group.
We’ll be sailing on the now even grander Grandeur of the Seas®! The newly revitalized ship sails from Baltimore and will visit ports in Boston, MA; Portland, ME; St John and Halifax Canada. Experience all new day-to-night innovations designed to WOW. Relax in new and remodeled staterooms. Watch family-friendly movies on the 220-square foot poolside outdoor screen. Dine in recently added specialty restaurants like Izumi for Japanese cuisine, signature steakhouse Chops GrilleSM, and the family-style Italian trattoria Giovanni’s Table.
When the sun goes down, enjoy the mesmerizing aerial acrobatics of their new Centrum experience. Then stop by R Bar, a chic throwback to the 1960s offering traditional and modern cocktails. It’s all part of the all new experience onboard Grandeur of the Seas.

September 17 - Cast On as We Cast Away with Susquehanna Knitting from Baltimore on the Grandeur of the Seas!
September 18 - Cruising - Knitting Lounge opens @10am for Open Knit Time! Join us for coffee and Danish in the Knitting Lounge for check-in with Beth and a cruise overview from Carol at 2pm. Knitting Orientation begins at 2:30 with Beth and a Knitalong orientation. We'll also host a Welcome Cocktail Party in the Viking Lounge from 4:30 - 5:30.
September 19 - Portland, Maine - Open Knit Time in the Lounge or go on a Yarn Crawl to some of Portland's best yarn shops (we'll give you the details); Tea Time available in the Knitting Lounge from 3-5pm
September 20 - Boston, Massachusetts - Open Knit Time or Boston Yarn Crawl; Tea Time from 3-5pm
September 21 - Bar Harbor, Maine - Open Knit Time or Bar Harbor Yarn Crawl; Tea Time from 3-5pm
September 22 - Saint John, NB - Open Knit Time and St. John Yarn Crawl; Join a Knit Class with Beth; Tea Time from 3-5pm
September 23 - Halifax, Nova Scotia - Open Knit Time and Halifax Yarn Crawl; Tea Time from 3-5pm
September 24 - Cruising - Troubleshooting & Forensic Knitting with Beth from 1-3pm; Knitter's Stash Bingo from 3-4pm in the Viking Lounge. All cruisers from the group are welcome to try their hand at Bingo, Royal Caribbean style, complete with special prizes from Cruise Planners and Susquehanna Knitting. Then, it's time for Show & Tell, Yarn Crawl Prizes, and Awards!
September 25 - Cruising - Troubleshooting & Forensic Knitting with Beth from 1-2:30pm; Then, From at 2:30pm in the Viking Crown Lounge, join us for a special napkin or towel-folding class just for our Stitch Cruise 2020 participants! Let Royal Caribbean teach you how to spice up your place settings (and your bathrooms!) Then, stick around for our Farewell Cocktail Party starting at 4:45. All Stitch Cruise 2020 sailors are welcome.
September 26 - Time to say Good-bye to friends, old and new....until the next Stitch Cruise!
Group rates available for double occupancy Inside or Oceanview staterooms. Call for individual pricing for Balcony, Suite, or triple/quad occupancy. Accessible staterooms are available upon request.
Royal Caribbean gratuities are $14.50 per person per day and are added daily to your onboard account. Gratuities may be added at registration to be pre-paid at Final Payment.
Group Dining is available at 5:30pm or 8pm. My Time dining may be available upon request.
All staterooms will receive $50 onboard credit.
