"Ephemera Angels"
Bridging the gap between commission, keepsake and original art from the artist's heart these one-of-a-kind angels will ship on or around February 1, 2021.
This is a DEPOSIT (read on for balance due and shipment details).
How does this work? You make your deposit here and then you will receive email instructions for next steps which include snail mailing me some personal ephemera, mementos, family memories, to include in your mixed media guardian angle. You will be asked to choose a color-family for the background of the angel only. The rest will be inspired by my heart. Your finished angel will be infused with your ephemeral memories and the spirit and direction of the season and the art. You may feel free to write me any narratives or memories of a person, pet, experience, travel or your choice of experiences to help inspire. The art however, will be moved by the spirit so this is not a commission in the sense that specifics are not dictated. Your background color choices will help ground the piece in its new home in 2021. Bits of your ephemera will be included in your piece. Excess and leftovers will be returned to you with your finished piece.
Finished works will be on 5 x 7" premier quality 7/8" thick hand splined canvas ready to hang with a saw-toothed hanger and your memories embedded.
Order multiples as special keepsakes of a family event, memory keepsake of a person or pet, event, wedding or birth...the possibilities are endless. Each individual angel is unique and one-of-a-kind even when ordering multiples. I will write your special sentiments in the layers below the collage work if you desire.
*Your order here is a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to reserve your angel. Once your deposit is received you will receive instructions by email for taking the next step to completion of your angel. Please take a look at my Instagram feed at www.instagram.com/bethcanpaint for my overall style and especially the angels you see there over the coming weeks so you can be fully confident in your decision to deposit.
Completed Ephemeral Guardian Angels are $120.21 each and your deposit will leave you with a balance due January 31, 2021 of $100.00. You will be emailed a photo of your finished angel with the call for payment of the balance. All shipping costs within the U.S. are covered in the total price. International orders are welcome but additional shipping charges will apply.
To protect the investment of time and spirit into the angels, those whose balances are not paid by February 14 will be released for purchase to others and you will be signing a release that acknowledges this when sending your ephemera.
Reservation pre-orders and deposits will close January 1 or after 50 preorders, whichever comes first.
